Does reporting YouTube videos do anything? When something is reported, it’s not automatically taken down. Reported content is reviewed along the following guidelines: Content that violates our Community Guidelines is removed from YouTube. Content that may not be appropriate for younger audiences may be age-restricted.
How many reports does it take to delete a YouTube video? A YouTube channel is terminated if it accrues three Community Guidelines strikes in 90 days, has a single case of severe abuse (such as predatory behavior), or is determined to be wholly dedicated to violating our guidelines (as is often the case with spam accounts).
What if I accidentally reported a video on YouTube? There is no way to ‘undo’ a report. Staff will review the report and if there is nothing wrong, nothing will happen to the channel in question.
How do you know if someone reported you on YouTube? Visit your Reporting History page to check the status of videos you’ve reported on YouTube: Live: Videos that are either not yet reviewed or that we decided don’t violate YouTube Community Guidelines.
